1. Availability of SSL certificates
Our free Let's Encrypt certificates are tied to our web hosting products. You need at least a Small Web Hosting package to equip your domains with these SSL certificates. Our new web hosting packages include unlimited Let's Encrypt certificates.
If you want to switch from an old web hosting with limited certificates to one of our new packages, please read this article to learn how: --> How can I upgrade or downgrade my webhosting contract?
To issue Let's Encrypt certificates for a domain, our Nameservers must be used. This is a technical requirement to validate the certificate's validity and the domain ownership at regular intervals. Unfortunately, this rule cannot be waived.
If you use external Nameservers or our Nameservers cannot be used due to technical reasons, you must purchase one of our paid certificates, which allow for domain ownership validation using alternative methods.
