This article explains how to set up the transfer lock for Domain Protection in your easyname customer account.
Two-factor authentication is required for your customer account to use the transfer lock.
1. Open Domain Protection
Log in to your easyname customer account and open the overview of your domains.
Next to Domain Protection for the desired domain, click on More (1) and then on Manage Two-Factor Authentication (2).
2. Check Two-Factor Authentication
If two-factor authentication is already active for your customer account, you do not need to set it up again.
If two-factor authentication has not yet been activated, you can activate it now.
3. Activate Two-Factor Authentication
In the new window, set up two-factor authentication. Follow the displayed steps and enter the confirmation code.
Once you have entered the code, click on Activate Two-Factor Authentication (3).
4. Use the Transfer Lock
After successfully activating two-factor authentication, the transfer lock for Domain Protection can be used.
